#77 Auto Repair, Inc.

I can’t speak more highly of my experience at #77 Auto in Durham. After having some experiences with other “name brand” shops where I left feeling like I was either a bother or an easy target for a lot of extra work- I found #77 auto. Making an appointment online was easy. When I called to ask questions they were kind. When I showed up I was greeted warmly. I felt taken care of and they were so honest with me about what was needed. There was no upselling or sneaking. Normally taking my car to get serviced makes me feel like I have to be on guard so that I don’t get taken advantage of. But at #77 auto the vibes from every last person I encountered were warm, kind, and genuinely wanting to hel…

#77 Auto Repair is amazing, fantastic, and "honest". I took my vehicle in seeking to have repair work done that another shop said that I needed done. When I went to the shop to see if they performed the type of work that I was seeking Chris the owner asked why did I think that I needed that done and said let me take a look. After taking a look at my vehicle he determined that I needed a totally different repair that I was told I needed by the other shop. After getting an estimate cost of the repair and agreeing to have the repair done I left my vehicle and Chris even took me home. The repair was done and ready next day. I was really satisfied with their Honesty, customer service, p…

Absolutely the best mechanics ive ever dealt with. The nicest of people and respectful of my wishes. It was the absolute best decision I made to use their shop. I was traveling down from Ohio to pick my boys up from their grandma's and my car broke down after I got here. They took the best care of me and had me back on the road by the end of the business day. The owner here at 77 auto is a dream and the most down to earth honest god loving/fearing woman ive ever met. She was a dream to deal with.

I worked with Brian, and he was tremendously helpful, and I feel, honest. The prices were fair, the service was good and timely, and I feel they paid attention to detail. I will utilize their services in the future and thank them for their good work.

Five stars, highest marks for friendly, professional, straight-forward service on my Mini Cooper. From first contact on the phone to car fixed and driving home took just 1 day, but with no haste or corner cutting. Chris, the mechanic, took time to answer my questions and point out details I would not have noticed otherwise. A very trustworthy shop!
